Eccola lì! Una delle domande più gettonate di sempre!
Quanto peso perderete e in quanto tempo non dipende solo da ciò che mangiate, ma anche da altri fattori.
Per esempio, se avete più kg da perdere, o siete un uomo, allora dimagrirete più velocemente. Tendenzialmente gli uomini hanno più massa muscolare: 1 kg di muscoli brucia più calorie di 1 kg di grasso, quindi un uomo di 70 kg brucerà più calorie di una donna dello stesso peso.
Inoltre, quanto si perde dipende anche da cosa si è mangiato fino ad oggi, dalle abitudini predominanti: se siete fan degli zuccheri raffinati o degli alimenti molto processati, e poi li eliminate quasi del tutto, vedrete il peso scendere velocemente, soprattutto durante il primo mese, perché state eliminando principalmente l'acqua che il corpo stava trattenendo.
La cosa positiva è che se poi moderate l’assunzione di questi cibi raffinati ed elaborati, questo peso non dovrebbe più tornare ma, già nel secondo mese, il calo del peso potrebbe essere più lento.
Possiamo comunque fare una stima approssimativa di quanto potremmo perdere?
L'obiettivo terapeutico raccomandato per tutti gli adulti in sovrappeso e l’obesità è una perdita di peso compresa tra 0,25 e 1,0 kg a settimana e una riduzione del peso corporeo dal 5% al 10%.
Da 6 a 12 mesi la perdita di peso varia da almeno il 5% a una riduzione del 40% del peso corporeo, a seconda anche della presenza di complicanze legate al peso.1
La domanda più frequente sulla perdita di peso è:
“Posso perdere di più con una dieta più drastica?”
Non è una buona idea. Le persone che cercano di perdere peso velocemente e in modo sbagliato, con buona probabilità, lo riprendono altrettanto rapidamente.
La domanda più illuminata è:
“Come faccio a ridurre il grasso ed aumentare il muscolo?”.
Fate attività fisica!
Se puntate su protocolli di allenamento di forza e resistenza, aumenterete il metabolismo, quindi aumenteranno anche le possibilità di perdere peso.
